I’ve just come across some of my old poems (mostly laughably bad) but this one is making (albeit obvious) allusions to Tamlin, Samson and Delilah, a couple Shakespeare plays and Wuthering Heights but it’s actually decent. I mean, it’s not great, but it’s not bad either! Way to go younger me, you’d make T. S. Eliot vaguely proud.
